I am based in Haliburton, Ontario and all of the shows and galleries that I exhibit in are based in this area.
Art Shows.
Art in the Park, Haliburton.
This is a juried show and I have been selected to take part in this event on several occassions, most recently in 2025. It draws crowds from all over Ontario, Canada and the United States. The vendors come from all over Canada. It takes place on the last weekend in July.
Tour de Forest, Haliburton Area.
This is a juried show which I have participated in for the last eight years. It takes place on The Victoria Day long weekend in August. For two years we also had a winter market around the end of November.
Victoria County Studio Tour, Kawartha Lakes.
This is a juried show which I have participated in. It takes place over two weekends at the end of September and beginning of October.
Kawartha Arts Festival, Fenelon Falls, Kawartha Lakes.
This is a juried show which I have participated in. It takes place over the Labour Day long weekend and is a combination of Arts and Crafts.
Stanhope Winter Fair, Stanhope.
This is a new show by personal selection which I have participated in. It takes place at the end of November.
Minden Market, Minden.
This show is associated with the Farmers Market in Minden. It runs every Saturday during the summer months. I have been in attendance part time for the past two years.
Art in the Garden, Blairhampton.
This is a show that ran between 2021 and 2023. It acted as a precursor to Tour de Forest and was by personal invitation. It ran in mid June.
Galleries.
Rails End Gallery, Haliburton.
I have been a member of Rails End gallery for the past 10 years and exhibit a combination of Acrylic and Watercolour paintings. The subject matter varies but local scenes seem to be very popular. I also display and sell stained glass pieces.
Ethel Curry Gallery, Haliburton.
I was a member of this prestigious local institution until the time of its closure in 2023. I exhibited Watercolour and acrylic paintings on a variety of subjects.
Kinmount Artisans Marketplace, Kinmount.
I have been a member of the Marketplace for several years. It displays a combination of Arts and Crafts with my most successful sales being of local landmarks and institutions.
Fenelon Falls Station Gallery, Fenelon Falls.
This gallery has a juried selection process and I was selected on the only year I decided to attend. I displayed Watercolour and Acrylic landscapes and local scenes along with some stained glass.
